Inside Technique : InsideDHTML Tools

Extend Internet Explorer 4.0 with InsideDHTML Tools! These tools add new options to your context menu and are written entirely in JavaScript and DHTML and are designed to improve your browsing experience.

Our current tools includes: Generate Page View Source only provides the original source code before the application of any scripts. Generate Page gives access to the currently viewed state of the document. Link Index Quickly create a page that lists all the links on the page. Remember Me Often when browsing the web, I see a link that appears interesting that I may or may not want to visit later. Remember Me provides a scratchpad for automatically remembering interesting links while browsing.

Install All Tools (< 1K) ^{IE4 Win32 Only}

Installing InsideDHTML Tools modifies the Internet Explorer 4.0 context menu. Selecting one of these menu choices runs a DHTML script from the insideDHTML.com site. The script downloads and executes locally on your machine. The scripts only access the page currently being viewed and any results are never sent back to any web-site.

The installation process runs a small registry file that extends the context menu of Internet Explorer 4.0. This technique is documented in the Internet Explorer 4.0 SDK and has no effect on the operation of your browser. See Uninstalling Tools to locate and remove the insideDHTML tools registry settings.

After installing, you need to quit and restart all instances of the browsers to see the changes. When you restart the browser, when you right click on a document, the context menu is displayed with the installed options.
