Directions
  1. Select a start and end color from the drop-down list or type in a custom color name or 6 digit hexadecimal number.
  2. Enter the number of color grades to generate between the two colors. 16 through 32 grades are usually sufficient. The higher this number is made, the slower the performance.
  3. Enter a width and height for the rule.
  4. Select whether you want this rule to run cross-browser or just on Internet Explorer. This is an optional selection because the cross-browser version requires the use of a very small 1 pixel transparent GIF. You can get the transparent GIF by saving the background of the light-blue frame containing the text, "Cross-browser GIF".
  5. Select whether you want the rule to blend horizontally or vertically.
  6. Select whether you want the rule to float left or right, or be centered.
  7. Click on the generate button. When you generate the rule, these directions will be replaced with the rule and the generated HTML.
