 Drop down menu systems

Does anyone have any good experiences with drop down menu systems. I have recently tried the menu,js provided on the Netscape site which works fine, even across frames. That is, until IE5 is used. As soon as a menu is used the browser becomes rather persistent. Yes, it can be closed down but a kernel sems to remain in the task list (under 98 (sometimes) and NT always). These build up and have to be disposed of manually.

I then found an excellent system on IBM's site and this seemed just the ticket, containing any amount of browser testing and giving a nice warm feeling. Until it's run in Netscape 4.5 when the menus appear transparent and with no borders.

Does anyone know of a good, simple drop down menu system which works cross browser? Or has anyone had these problems and found a way to correct them?

Thanks

Thanks, Christophe, I've had a look and will need to study it more closely before cobbling another menu together.

As a point of interest, did you ever discover why IE5 stays in memory?

Steve
