does anybody know the algorithm for calculating the actual number of weeks in a month. It's always between 4 and 6. But my maths centre of my brain has seized up entirely.
E.g. April 2012 has 6 weeks, as does November 2009. 31 January 2007 has 5 weeks. The first day is a sunday and the last day is a monday.
Aah I was assuming that Monday is the start of the week, which is the accepted day where I live, and shows as such in most of my calendering apps. When this is the case you can count the previous sunday as the previous week and you start getting lots of months with 5-6 weeks instead of 4-5. That seemed inconsistent
