Plus, I haven't seen too many opportunities to contribute valuable information.
(Although someone did call here a few days ago with a malicious prank phone call - perhaps I could contribute another Hayoo! support number? It was a cell phone, no less...) This was a recent meet I went to (of people in another forum I frequent). It was lolsworthy! bod1467 on Mar 8, 2006 at 3:29:46 AM (# 3961)A bit of music pimpage - El Fuego are a new band from the North East of England and I am making their website for them. Why me? The lead singer is my niece! :-D ctcrmcou on Mar 8, 2006 at 4:39:24 AM (# 3962)Oh, another book looms.....
Holo and RA are eating a quiet dinner together, laughing about all the stupid SE questions. Empty beer bottles all over the table, giggling at every turn.
RA notices off in the distance a familiar face. She quicky lowers her head and tries to hide her face with her napkin.
The figure in the distance gets up, wipes his mouth with his silk napkin, and slowly advances towards the table.
Holo notices that this might be an uncomfortable situation. He does not have his keyboard handy, therefore this confrontation will have to take place in person. What is he to do?
The person, with broad shoulders and a perfectly shaven face steps forward, "Robin? Is that you?"
RA, peeking slowly over her silk napkin, pulls it down, as if acting suprised and says "Johnny! Good to see you! What are you doing here?"
Johnny (Damon) replies, "we've got a game against the the Blue Jays tomorrow, just thought I'd check out the local hot spots."
Holo, sitting there dripping in his own sweat, realizing that there is no room for him in this conversation, stares at the handsome figure of athletic stardom, and can only imagine what it must be like to be a world-recognized superstar.
"Oh, Johnny, this is my friend holo".
"Holo?" asked Johnny, "that's an unusual name. I'm pleased to meet you".
"Actually, that's short for Holophrastic...."
"Ah, of course" says Johnny.
"I mean my real name is Bryan. my friends just call me holo."
"I see." Says Johnny, turning his attention back to Robin Ann. "Robin, perhaps we can get together after my game and talk about our future...."
"What future?" Robin Ann asked bashfully.
"Oh come on now, you know how excited we both get when we see eachother. I'm a Yankee in uniform, but I'll always be a red sock in my heart..."
Holo glances over where Johnny was sitting, and notices a pissed off georgeous woman storming towards him.....

Your niece is a pretty good singer. Good looking website you've got going there. They sound like pretty damn good band! Good, distinctive Rock sound on the 2nd song. Is their CD for sale anywhere?
Rock isn't the genre that I play, but I've been known to listen to rock on occasion. Right now at my desk I have 3 Garth Brooks CDs, the Garth Brooks "Chris Gaines" CD, a Hank Williams CD, Creed's "Human Clay" CD, and Metallica "S & M" (Symphony & Metallica), as well as a classical CD.
