everyone... comments?

GURU's:
1. The CSS seems to load SLOW (like after the whole page loads. I need a fix for that (?)

I am on T3+ so I really have not the ability to read what should/could be loading and how to arrange properly in code.

also:
The floor is open to other improvements...!

Thank you hedger for the great menu code... ;-) - I had fun deciphering it.

~ Still Trying ~

Just got in... Right in to fixing :) I think I have placed the javascript functions in the correct order... no errors, good! functioning... not good :(

I rewrote nav+moz.htm into two seperate nav's for pages.

I'll put the new function written by you BachusII on both navigation pages.

Could you check my work on the executives.htm page? nav_stop.htm is the connected navigation iframe.

And from the look of the conversation with MHenke... Alas the other domain has not yet resolved... *gasp!* minimalism (shock - horror!)

Sincerely,

RobinAnn

No call to the function, thus the function does not run, therefor "it no workie"

You might want to fade that background 50%.

~ This is SOOOO Camp! ~

WOW! I did it! (a little more to manage, but at least it works :) If you want to post how to fix the error, I'd really appreciate it.

Viewed in FF at 800x600

http://www.sebeclakelodge.com/new/ showed me a blank screen.

http://www.sebeclodge.com/reservations_executives.htm and http://www.sebeclodge.com/contact_reservations.htm look nice in general but:

  • They show a horizontal scrollbar at 800x600
  • They have a tabbed menu which does not work if Javascript is disabled - IE users should always disable JS for security reasons. And the NOSCRIPT block breaks the layout rather messily - to be fair, you deserve brownie points for having a NOSCRIPT block at all.
  • I see ctcrmcou's point about the main bg colour being a bit bright. How does it look if you use the same bg colour as in the top border?

~ Little by Little ~

philcha, bod1467 had me looking into that sizing issue, I did make it a tad smaller... I haven't been able to test my 600x800 machines yet - maybe I can get some preliminary feedback.

I did experiment with the background a little... I haven't found one strong enough to bump the current one out yet.

I minimised the < noscript> font size - now it loads into a smaller area - also, the sitemap link at the top is for all the "paranoid" folks who don't want to turn that scripting on!

I'm still working on a few things there.. so I hope to hear more. Great feedback so far! Thank you....

Sincerely,

RobinAnn
