Monte on Dec 5, 2005 at 10:23:02 AM (# 4)I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, adit_ya369, but bod is laughing AT you. sekirt on Dec 5, 2005 at 10:35:14 AM (# 5)It seems SE has a magnet attraction for the website you asked about. Search this forum to get contact information for that website.
Or, believe it or not, they actually have that information on their website! But you will have to look for the secret words.
psst.... "Company Info" bod1467 on Dec 5, 2005 at 11:35:35 AM (# 6)AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
:-D Monte on Dec 5, 2005 at 11:57:42 AM (# 7)Maybe we should put it up as a riddle...or one of those RPG-type things...
Something like:
If Yahoo Contact information or Yahoo Technical support is what you desire, the following tasks you must complete:
Utilize your pointing device to twice click upon the mark of the User Agent of which you desire usage. To gain access to the site known as Yahoo.com, you must use your pointing device to click within the address bar. You must then use your text input device to enter the name of the site, following the rule of the Uniform Resource Indicator. If you are successful, you will be granted access to Yahoo! If the viewing area of the User Agent is too small, the bar of vertical scrolling will appear on the right side of the User Agent. Take hold of the bar by clicking and holding on the bar of vertical scrolling with your pointing device. Move the pointing device so that the bar of vertical scrolling moves downward. Discover the text "Company Info". Use your pointing device and click upon the "Company Info" text.
Now that you have entered the world of Yahoo! Company Information, you must decide if you wish to receive help, or view the phone number. If you wish to receive help, locate and select with your pointing device "Yahoo! Help Central". If you wish to find a phone number, locate and select with your pointing device "Addresses". Winterwolf on Dec 6, 2005 at 4:42:45 AM (# 8)thats way too wordy for rpgs :) and to be honest Id rather not imagine a world where players would have to navigate yahoo!
I think the reason for all these posts is the fact that Yahoo! is holding a secret scavenger hunt for tech support questions on SE...the person who recieves the most outrageous tech support on SE will gain 2000grandmembership points on Yahoo! and be given a rainbow star to prove their leet status in the organization of Yahoo! users. ...but this is just a guess. Monte on Dec 6, 2005 at 5:36:29 AM (# 9)Maybe it's Yahoo! employees themselves wanting us to write code for them, and then they get rich and get all the credit for it.
