Oh, must I explain.  You Europeans..... tsk tsk.

Basically baseball, football and basketball is all we Americans live for - total envy of the rich millionaire athletes, or something like that.

So, when our favorite player on our favorite baseball team (or at least RA's favorites....) leaves the team to join their hated rivals, the very team whom this player crushed in the playoffs last year with one swing of the bat, then, well, you can just imagine.  

Of course, it also proves that there is no loyalty.  It simply came down to money - another things we Americans live for.  Sports and money. If you have both, then you also get the women (as bod is proving with his new intern making him rich).  No wonder so many executives end up in jail.
