HELP ME PLEASE, ABOUT WIRELESS INTERNET!!!

ok heres my problem. i live on a navy base in japan. the only internet we have here is either dial up or wireless broadband by some company name NTT. ive heard stories of how this internet isnt stong enough to send out good enough signals so that everyone can pick them up. i dont want to have to resort to dial up. what would i need in order to be able to revieve this signal and get my wireless internet. i know it says it will work with any 802.11 reviever but people say theres is always down and what not. i want mine to run smoothly at all time and never have to worry about it. i want my $35 a month to be worth it. thanks.

Since your pirate copied OS will quit work in 30 days (at the latest), it's not worth to bother with that question.

Wheter the signal is strong enough for you depends on the antenna used on the navy base and the place of the antenna.
Also talk to the maintainer of the WiFi system about the settings needed for the proper connection.
If youŕe using a desktop, go for an accesspoint instead of a wireless card and use if possible an external antenna with a line-of-sight to the main antenna. (fo a laptop you need either a pcmcia card or some internal WiFi card)
Try to lend/rent/nick (AHUM) some equippement to try it out.

I don't care a pap, not-so-smart guy.
That comment was merely a hint that I've actually dealt with your question here, before I've read your second, questionable request, and a hint for others on SE to check this second posting for that we don't loose focus on your valuable contributions to SE.
