  How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

Open up outlook,go into options,choose maintainance
click the store folder button.Copy this file path and then navigate to it using my computer.Backup this folder into a CD or something.When you need to get your messages back onto your new system use the same method as above to find out where the message store is then copy your old messages from the CD to this folder.
