 Wireless internet problem

I've been having a problem connecting to the Internet with my wireless card. It shows me networks that i can connect to and that signal streagth is "very Good" but then it wont let me connect. I've tried the "Repair" option and it tells me it has no fults and to check the network but when ever someone else tries to get on the same network they seem to have no issues. i don't know if i have a bad card or if it's a progarm error. how do i check for both.

I've been having a similar problem for the past two days with my notebook. My wireless internet shows me that my network has a signal strength of "excellent" but it does not allow me to enter to browse the internet. But, similarly, if someone tries to connect to the same network, they have no problems. I contacted a technical assistant and he revealed to me that my IP address is invalid and I must contact the person who manages my wireless connection in order to be given a valid address to allow me to properly connect. Maybe you just need a new, valid IP address, too. If this helps, your welcome. :)
