 How to create a pop-up window (menu)

 How to create a pop-up window (or menu) similar to the ones shown at the following sites:

- http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/tce/default.aspx
Simply pointing the mouse at the link 'Microsoft.com' (located on the top-right corner) triggers a JavaScript function to display a menu of products.

- http://www.amazon.com
When you roll the mouse over the tab labeled "See All 41 product Categories", a window (menu) pops up.

Try searching - loads of resources online. Your search term is sliding menus.

You could also look into the "Spry Framework" from Adobe. The JavaScript is kind of complicated, though...
