ntuser / .dat and .txt files clean-up in Vista

Going through routine file clean-up tasks, what is the correct way to handle the NTUSER.dat files? The main one should not be deleted I understand, yet others such as “ntuser.dat.log2” (apparently a LOG2 file) as well as .BLF files and regtrans files. Must these stay in the profile directory, or can they be deleted?

Also site history clean-up in Vista appears to have some new paths for .dat and .txt files. Aside from the traditional index.dat (.txt) , url.dat (.txt), and cookies.dat (.txt) files are there any others we need to erase? I just use the cmd command to get a DOS prompt and go from there.

Thank you.
