Works fine on Dev, breaks on production

Ok, here's the scenario:

I'm working on some stuff in VS 2k8 Express.

I have the site set up for the MS.NET Framework 3.5, and I'm using AJAX.

Well, it works perfectly fine on my development box, but as soon as I publish it, I get the:

Server Error in '/' Application.

And I can't figure out why. I even tried modifying the web.config file as it says, but that didn't work, either. I'm publishing at a friend's site (with his permission, of course!), and I thought he told me it supported .NET 3.5 and AJAX.

Any ideas? Things I should check? Anything like that??

Ok, I figured this out, but it involved tech support.

See, I have a friend who uses Brinkster for hosting. Well, it says they support ASP.NET 3.5 and AJAX.

What they don't tell you, is that you have to contact them, and have them AJAX-enable whatever folder you're using.

It would be nice if they said that up front.
