Html 5 ASP.Net controls beta testing Rather than build separate versions of my web apps for each mobile device, I decided to build mobile-optimized versions of the sites with html5 and webkit styling. I'm an Asp.net / vb developer, and I couldn't find some of the "obvious" things like <input type="search"> much less a canvas. Postback is a nuisance to implement, so I added handlers for working with codebehind. I built a suite of controls for the job and realized that with a bit more polish, these could be marketable. I'd like to have some people beta test it before launch. I'm offering a free license of the v1 kit after all beta enhancements. My email is at the bottom of the page. ja928 on Sep 22, 2010 at 5:58:15 AM (# 3) I've decided to open source my project.  The full source of my HTML5ASP controls are now on SourceForge.Net.  This one is the dll.  This includes canvas, inputs for tel, url, range, color, etc,  email links, map links, and phone links.  I'd love to hear back from anyone who uses them.  I'm new to open source, so I'm just building up the site.  Let me know if you want to suggest (or build) any features!  I could really use some help making the project page and setting up the subversion repository. ja928 on Nov 2, 2010 at 7:43:23 AM (# 4) This didn't generate much besides spam traffic here, but I decided to Open-Source the project.  Check it out at Sourceforge.net.  I could use some Subversion help if anyone wants to dablle with the project.
