Short Description

It's time to pack up our bags and go home. We finally have taken the big step and made the Netscape BLINK element cross-browser. Now you can even drive your Internet Explorer users' crazy by creating lots of blinking text. Check out how we did it in this light-hearted article.

Excellent.

It didn't work for me until I added the () - i.e ver 5.5

window.onLoad=startBlink; became window.onLoad=startBlink();

Blinking to notify user they did NOT submit some data and that their partially submitted crap would be deleted automatically this evening unless they edit it and hit the submit button.  We'll see...

I've used this while a page sniffs cookie and makes DB connections.

Loading <<blink>>...<</blink>>

Works great for me. Now I can use it cross browser.
