In reply to sonicblis's comment, maybe he/she could create a class for each complete pile. Then maybe he/she could create a function that will check all the cards against the correct number (e.g. AS,AH,AD,AC against the Ace).

It's a lot of info in a short article, but well done none the less.  I do have a question.  I want to make a game called clock solitaire where there are initially four cards in 13 piles.  You win the game when all cards are in the right piles (according to a clock face) face up.  The number of cards in a pile never changes so how can I designate when someone has won?
