This is the best tutorial on html I have found, and I've been looking all over the web! The examples and pace are excellent. Most importantly, it's the first place I have found that explains in clear language what the basics are about html 4 and how it pertains (roughly) to html 3.2, for example. As a newbe, I now have at least a loose grasp on how to proceed and what to watch for to make my site as compatible as possible with the past as well as future browsers and technology. You folks need to write a book!

I'm sorry that I my colleagues didn't tell me about this tutorial instead of giving me different articles from different sites, each of which had about 2 paragraphs of info each!  This was an excellent introduction.  The interactive elements are the perfect way for the novice to view and "experiment" without having to write code.  The only thing I can't find anywhere, at least not yet, are the definitive attribute lists for the various tags.

It was a very helpfull article which helped me out with some tags that I didn't know what they were used for before. In my book, it's a perfect tutorial.
