Short Description

Create custom cross-hairs by combining the CSS cursor property with the VML support in Internet Explorer 5.0. With a little extra DHTML, you can even make the cursor highlight appropriate targets!

Cool.  I remember reading a write-up on VML in PC Authority Mag (Australian mag imported into New Zealand).  I hope it becomes standard, not just defacto!

Also, its features like this that Netscape lacks.  Netscape should be abolished!  IE is the only thing MS do right!

A good bit of fun with VML! For those wondering about more complicated VML and not wanting to code it all by hand (a somewhat horrific task for some of the VML shapes), Microsoft have a VML Generator for download at http://msdn.microsoft.com/standards/vml/default.asp (scroll down to the bottom of the page for the download link) which I came across a couple of weeks ago.
