While the automatic collapse of a menu hierarchy is innovative, I'd like a switch in tocParas.php3 to disable it. After all we're relying with users' familiarity with Windows or Mac interfaces that don't have this behaviour. As well, while I agree with the previous poster that the trend is to 'abuse the client side', I welcome server side implmentations like this which are inherently less susceptible to client side problems. Trends in increased bandwidth and server side processing power decrease concerns of abusing the server.
