XML Online

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simplified subset of the Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) designed as a standard way to describe data and structured text. This section explores how to transport and manipulate XML data and how to use HTML to render the data.

To process the data, an XML parser is required. Internet Explorer 4.0 has an XML parser. While this parser is often associated with CDF (Channel Definition Format), it can also be used to parse your own data.

We have demonstrations of XML available for Internet Explorer 4.0 users and invite you to learn more about this exciting new technology.
